The Tetris Company Introduces New Tetris® Themed Games and Toys at Dallas’
Fall Toy Preview

More popular than ever, the Tetris® brand expands beyond electronic and casual
gaming to tabletop games and toys

Dallas, TX – October 4, 2011 – The Tetris Company, LLC along with its merchandising
agent, Licensing Works!® is announcing today that, due to strong consumer demand for
Tetris® branded products, they are introducing new games and toys. Several of The
Tetris Company’s licensees are also introducing new Tetris® merchandise products for
2012 at this year’s Dallas Fall Toy Preview from October 4th through October 6th.

“We’re very excited to showcase some of our new products at this year’s Dallas Fall Toy
Preview,” said Leslie Levine, Head of Licensing Works!®. “This year has been full of
excitement for the Tetris brand and we’re thrilled to show off some of our newest games
for the whole family.”

Toy innovator Techno Source (Dallas Showroom, Suite 411) is pleased to announce
they now hold the exclusive rights to the iconic Tetris® video game for stand-alone
handheld electronic devices. Their Tetris® electronic handheld game will be introduced
at retail beginning in 2012, but a prototype will be on display at the Fall Toy Preview.

For 2012, Techno Source will also be introducing its two-player travel version of Tetris®
Link™, a family strategy game that’s already been very successful and has received
numerous awards. Tetris Link has players link Tetriminos (Tetris playing pieces) of the
same color to score points, while blocking their opponents from linking and scoring. The
two-player travel version is priced at $9.99, while the original game for two to four
players is currently available for purchase at mass and specialty retailers nationwide with
an MSRP of $24.99. Both games will be on display and ready for play at Fall Toy
Preview.

Basic Fun, a division of the Good Stuff Company, will exhibit and demo its Tetris Nano
carabiner (Diverse Marketing, showroom #439) at this week’s Fall Toy Preview.
Tetris®, one of the most recognized casual gaming brands in the world, will be available
for the first time ever outside of Japan on keychain carabiners through Basic Fun. The
Tetris Nano carabiner is currently available in this fun, take-everywhere format at
retailers nationwide including: Target, Kohls, and Barnes & Noble. Suggested retail
price is $9.99.

Well-known entertainment company, Imagination (booth #3523), is unveiling brand
new packaging for its Tetris Cube that comes in two sizes. Tetris Cube is a 3-D puzzle
where a player tries to fit Tetriminos together to form a cube. This product is available in
large and small and provides hours of fun for ages 8 and up.

“The Tetris brand is already part of our everyday lifestyle – it is present on nearly every
interactive game platform worldwide and has seen more than 132 million paid mobile
downloads of the game,” said Lisa Linnenkohl, Head of Licensing for the Tetris® brand.
“By expanding into non-electronic games, we have a unique opportunity to broaden our
reach and further solidify the Tetris brand—something few video games are able to
accomplish after 27 years.”
